How does this even work?

TileFund is bankrolled by a Boston-based group of map enthusiasts and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are fully donation-driven and operate mostly at a loss at the moment. Revenues from sites that use our maps are fully reinvested to improve the availability and stability of our services.
